Welcome to the world oF

Saint Elias University

Saint Elias University is nestled in the heart of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park in Alaska, hidden inside Mount Saint Elias. Founded in 1692 by Vitus Bering, it is one of the oldest and most renowned magical institutions in North America.

The university’s entrance exam is unlike any other, conducted by the mountain itself, which determines if a mage is worthy of admission. If you are fortunate enough to be accepted, you’ll have the opportunity to study a wide range of magical disciplines, including Practical Curses, Glyph Decryption, Alchemy, Elementalism, and Creative Spell Writing.

With numerous clubs like Wilderness Watch, wand fishing, and broom racing, there’s always something for students to engage in. For those with a daring spirit, there’s even hydiving, where students dive from high altitudes on brooms and pull up at the last possible moment. Campus life thrives with students frequently gathering at the Quad, attending ruzo games, and socializing at Coventry.

Saint Elias University is a place where the future of the magical world is shaped. Whether your braving the trials to join a coven, mastering ancient spells, or pushing the boundaries of arcane magic, Saint Elias offers an unparalleled journey that will challenge and inspire you at every turn.

Meet the Characters

The covens

Entrance into Saint Elias University only guarantees a two-year education. However many students aspire to obtain a four-year degree. To do that they must get accepted into a coven.

In their second year, students undergo the culling, in order to be selected by one of the four active covens at Saint Elias University. Each one specializes in a different type of magic belonging to some of the most powerful species—mages, therians, fae, and elves. With the exception of mages, all these species are now extinct, and joining a coven is the only way to learn their ancient, powerful magics. Only the most cunning and powerful mages will earn their place in these prestigious covens.
